Starting along the PCT from its junction with CA-74, heading south.
View of Lookout Mountain's north face from the PCT.
Climbing to a saddle to the northeast of Lookout Mountain.
View back. San Jacinto Peak is visible, far-left.
At the saddle, continuing along the PCT.
View west into Burnt Valley.
First view of Lookout Mountain's southwest ridge. The route climbs the slope on its backside.
Leaving the PCT for a use-trail heading into the gully on the left.
