Trip report

Starting along this dirt road, headed south toward Horseshoe Meadows.
A trail starts next to this horse corral.
Joining with Mulkey Pass Trail at the boundary of the Golden Trout Wilderness.
Crossing Horseshoe Meadow.
Heading toward Mulkey Pass.

Short climb to Mulkey Pass through a foxtail pine forest.

Mulkey Pass. Turning left onto the PCT.
First view of Muah Mountain on the right.
Descending 800 feet to the base of Muah Mountain.
Around 9,600 feet, turning left onto the unmaintained Wormhole Canyon Trail.
Wormhole Canyon Trail follows Diaz Creek (left) past an unmarked campsite, where I was surprised to bump into a couple PCT section hikers.
